Elder Patriot – The New York Times has reported that another celebrated humanitarian, Peter John Dalglish has been charged with child rape in Nepal.
The Canadian is best known for helping to found Street Kids International. In April, Nepal’s Central Investigation Bureau arrested Daglish on multiple charges related to unlawful sex acts with a minor – pedophilia.
CIB chief and Deputy Inspector General of Police, Pushkar Karki said:
“Under the guise of community worker, claiming to educate poor kids and provide necessary support, he had been sexually exploiting these children.”
While this is horrendous news by itself, Dalglish’s past association with the United Nations further raises concerns about many of the agencies of the U.N. long known to have employed distressingly high numbers of child predators.
Dalglish had worked for a number of United Nations agencies and was the U.N.-Habitat country representative for Afghanistan.
He was also part of the U.N. Mission for Ebola Emergency Response in Liberia until January 2016 and has been advisor to the World Health Organization to help tackle the spread of the disease.
The list of allegations of pedophilia, human trafficking and rape that have been brought against the United Nations is staggering. Here is just a partial list:
The United Nations was charged in 150 cases of pedophilia, rape and prostitution by staff and soldiers in the Congo.
As reported by the Medium:
For decades, United Nations troops have preyed on the most vulnerable of those they were sworn to protect and serve with virtually none of the offenders facing justice.
Back in 2014, three girls in the Central African Republic came forward and revealed they were tied up and forced to have sex with a dog by a French military commander.
Then in 2015, a confidential report was leaked detailing allegations that French soldiers raped and abused dozens of boys — aged between nine and 13 — who had come to get something to eat from United Nations checkpoints. Many of the boys’ parents had been killed amid fighting that has devastated the country. (Source)
And in 2016, A 14-year-old girl told Human Rights Watch she was walking down a path in the bush when a United Nations soldier approached her in CAR. “He ripped off my clothes and used them to tie my hands behind my back,” she said. Then she was raped. She was one of more than 100 children to come forward in 2016 alone — including a 7 year old who was forced to perform oral sex on a UN soldier in exchange for water and cookies. “In exchange for food, the UN peacekeepers demanded sex from children as young as 12. In regards to the child sex ring run by UN peacekeepers in Haiti, nine children were being passed around from 2004 to 2007.
What’s distressing is that the United Nations’ massive pedophilia scandal that spans the globe but has not received 1 percent of the media attention given to the Catholic Church’s homosexual priest scandal despite the fact that the accusations of abuse are far more extensive.
Wake up, America.
